Like you, we have been shocked by the senseless violence Putin has unleashed on the people of Ukraine. The images of children being killed and families saying goodbye to fathers that must stay behind and fight are unbearable. We made donations to NGOs that are assisting the humanitarian crisis, but that’s not enough. Pallets for Ukraine is our avenue to multiply our efforts, allow others to show their support, and provide help to those that need it most.
We are excited to announce a partnership with Ukraine Aid Fund, a 501(c)3 organization founded right here in Colorado when the war began. All of the Ukraine Aid Fund volunteers are Ukrainian, and all of them have friends and family in the war zone. It changes things when you meet people that spend every second of their day worrying about the safety of their loved ones.
From now until May 15, 100% of the money we raise through our Pallets for Ukraine fundraiser will go directly to Ukraine Aid Fund. That includes funds from both yard flags and apparel sales. We hope you will join us in our support of these fantastic people.
Go to UkraineAidFund.org to learn more about their mission. And if you’d prefer to make a tax-deductible donation directly to them, please do! (Just let them know we sent you!)
Pallets for Ukraine is a family project started by a Grandpa, Son, and Granddaughter in Denver, Colorado. We collect pallets, disassemble them, and turn them into Ukrainian flag yard signs. The signs are then sold with 100% of the money raised being donated to several different charities working in Ukraine. All the materials we use are donated, so every dime raised goes to help the Ukrainian people. The only cost is our time, which we are proud to give!
We chose to begin this project with pallets because they are everywhere, and can often be found for free or are donated to us. Wooden signs are more durable than plastic ones, and we want to make sure the signs can withstand the Colorado weather for as long as this horrific and needless war goes on.

Project Dynamo was set up during the exodus from Afghanistan to help evacuate American allies and those that supported Americans during the war there. Its purpose was to evacuate those that couldn’t get help through the government channels. The combat veterans that lead the organization have now pivoted to Ukraine and are running operations to help get refugees out of the country, especially those that are high-risk. You may have heard that people are booking rooms in Ukraine via Airbnb as a way to funnel money directly to those that need it. (People are booking rooms and experiences without the intention of actually going there.) We’ve been in communication with Ukrainians currently in the conflict zone and confirmed with them how much this helps. We are using this method to get money to Ukrainian that are passing it directly to the defense forces and humanitarian efforts inside the country.
